We are honoured that the Little Sleep In we held in May was highly commended at the Institute of Fundraising Yorkshire and Humber Awards!
Every year the Institute of Fundraising Yorkshire Awards celebrates fundraising in Yorkshire. At this year's awards, held on Wednesday 29 July, it was announced that our Little Sleep In was highly commended in the Fundraising Event of the Year category.
The Little Sleep In was held on 1st May. We asked people to pitch a tent in the garden or build a den in their house and "sleep in" to raise vital funds to fight homelessness.
The Little Sleep In was a huge success and raised almost £10,000 in funds to help protect the most vulnerable people in our society during the height of the coronavirus outbreak.
We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone of you who took part and helped make this event a such a success. We would also like to give a big thanks to content marketing company So Contented who supported us with the Little Sleep In.
